Why this site exists

Most people buy life insurance without knowing how the number was chosen. I am Ali Raza, founder and editor of Jobzkpd, and I have spent more than ten years working in insurance and personal finance, helping families make sense of policies, premiums and claims. Time after time I saw the same problem: good people ended up with too little cover, or the wrong type, because the maths was never explained.

What you will find here

Jobzkpd combines two things. The first is a set of calculators for coverage needs, term versus whole life, premium estimates, income replacement, funeral costs, beneficiary shares, mortgage protection and the cost of waiting. The second is a library of guides that explain each idea without jargon.

How we work

• Every calculator states its formula, with a worked example and its limits.
• Calculations run in your browser, and nothing you enter is stored.
• Guides are reviewed regularly and corrected when readers spot an error.
• We do not sell policies or take commissions for recommending an insurer.

Independence

Jobzkpd is an educational publisher. It is not an insurance company, broker or financial adviser. The site may show advertising to cover running costs, but advertisers have no say over our formulas or advice.
